How does EcoScout change energy consumption and CO2 emissions?
In today's story, we would like to tell you how with the help of the EcoScout system, one of our clients made a significant step towards energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental responsibility.
Customer energy profile:
- Annual consumption: 11,000 kWh
- Consumption from 01/01/2023 to 01/11/2023: 9000 kWh/10 months
Initial scenario: Without our smart installation, under the VREG tariffs, the customer would have faced a €4,000 expense. Being on the hourly tariff energy consumption costs would amount €2,500.
Time for changes: With the installation of a 6kWp solar panel system and a 10kWh home battery, the story takes its turn. With our EcoScout system, the customer:
- consumed only 3,800kWh from the grid (42% of initial energy consumption),
- sold 1,900kWh,
- reduced his bills to €900/10 months.
It is worth noting that without our system, the customer would pay €180 for the capacity tariff. However, with EcoScout this cost has been effectively reduced to just €70.
Savings and environmental impact: Considering VREG tariff our customer's savings amounted to an impressive €3,100. With the hourly tariff, the savings increased to €1,645.
In addition to financial benefits, our client's decision to use renewable energy translated into measurable environmental benefits. His installation made it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by 1.2 tons, which corresponds to the annual amount of CO2 absorbed by 51 adult trees.
